Arranging Concerts
As part of its efforts to promote young talent, the Migros Culture Percentage supports up-and-coming musicians and chamber music ensembles showing promise through grants and a chamber music competition – not forgetting that, in addition to this financial support, young talents need opportunities to demonstrate their skills.
A special service for arranging concerts for talented young musicians provides the chamber music competition's winning ensembles and the music and vocal studies prize winners with the opportunity to expand their stage experience and achieve audience recognition.
Furthermore, the Migros Culture Percentage honors a select few among this group of musicians showing exceptional soloistic potential by providing them with preferential support, which includes, in addition to arranging concerts, finding concert engagements and coaching as well. These musicians are awarded the Migros Culture Percentage Soloist label.
The concert arrangement service, at the same time, allows concert organizers to offer high-quality concerts featuring up-and-coming talents at modest rates (the Migros Culture Percentage will take care of two thirds of the fees).
