Quatuor Byron
Native of different countries of Europe, the four musicians of the Byron Quartet have met around the Lemanic Basin, thanks to the impetus of Gàbor Takàcs-Nagy. This is why they naturally have wanted to pay tribute to Lord Byron, who was, by his acts and writings, the first great modern European.

«I want to express myself in a big way by using the smallest methods – it was this acting talent which fascinated me already as a child. I want to be able to have the space every day to be able to work on myself in order to achieve this. I am at home on the stage and enjoy performing for an audience, regardless of whether it is one person or three hundred. I want to touch the audience’s emotions, stimulate them to think, and also enchant them for a moment. My goal is to be able to turn my passion into my profession, to realise different projects and ideas, and to retain the zest for performing.»

“My greatest goal is to perform on the stage as soloist for a famous company. I do not wish to just remain as a swan in the back row of the Corp de Ballet, but I want to present my own personality and character on the stage as a soloist. I would give anything to be able to do this and will continue to work hard on myself, one never stops learning.”

«Nothing fascinates me more than the simplicity. An empty stage. The body. The voice. Searching for images, glances and movement. I would like to be able to pluck up courage to dive into the unknown for a moment and afterwards, with incredible energy, to regain the ground beneath my feet, to heat up the stage or the street, and to give the audience a story.»

“I want to bring the music closer to the listeners, to inspire them and to fill them with enthusiasm for the works. Regardless of whether I’m playing solo or in an orchestra, at a concert for young people, at a premiere of the latest works or at a classical chamber music recital, I try to show the audience the wide world of music through my expression, my ideas and thoughts in the hope that they will experience a few happy and unforgettable moments during the concert.”
